One last post for a while; I am waiting for my laundry to finish so I can pack-r-up and git-r-done. My long awaited week long vacation has finally arrived, and not a minute too late. My crabby butt needs to beach itself and get a much needed lattitude/attitude adjustment. I was sitting here thinking I should do one last post before I go, so that you know I didn't ditch the blog or fall off the face of the earth. I will be back on Tuesday next week.
I made the card above a few weeks ago while I was obsessing over the Crafty Secrets Halloween Cuts. Still using the black Cherubs swirl, and a medallion stamp out of one of the new release Crafty sets that is still in the works. It dawned on me when I was staging this, that one of the things I tend to do with cards is use them to decorate my house....because they are so much a part of who I am and what I do in my off time. In every room of my house, there is a card that I love adorning my living space. Do you guys do this also? Some are cards from cherished friends and some are cards I've done and liked enough to put up during the holiday seasons. Why not use them for this purpose? We work hard on our treasured works of art, they should be out where people can enjoy them, not stuck in a drawer or filed in the circular bin. I challenge you tonite to go to your card stash, pick out a card you made that you LOVE, and display it somewhere in your house. Be proud of what you do and the artistic gift you've been given..and share it with others!
