A do-over.

I was *SO* not happy with the last cards I made with this fun Bo-Bunny Shabby Princess Pep-rally-plaid paper. I LOVE the fall colors in the plaid and really wanted to do it justice, so I re-did this layout with the Stampendous Doodle-Pumpkin stamp I got at Eclectic Paperie. The orange polka dot paper is Bo Bunny Orange Citrus Dot. I used my standard trick of cutting 2 pieces of coordinating paper to measure 4" x 5 1/4", then laying them on top of each other. I took my oval spellbinders templates and die cut the 2 opposing corners of the paper. Then interchange the patterns when you adhere them to your card. The pumpkins have been colored in with copic markers. I found a tracing wheel for a quarter at a garage sale a few months ago, and finally used it to trace faux-stitching in the corner pieces of these cards, ala' Vicki Chrisman. I also took a Sakura Jelly Roll clear glitter pen and ran it over the top of the faux stitches, for extra shimmer. The little black dotty pattern is from the Crafty Secrets "Cherub" set. I've had that set for months and am just starting to play with all the little do-dad embellishments that are on it. I've been using the swirl from that set a LOT! Ribbon is orange gingham from Wal-Mart.

They're cute! Very nice Copic coloring, too. I just ordered a small set on ebay and can't wait to try them. I might as well jump on that bandwagon, too! :D
