Simple Birthday Cards

Tonite I finally had a chance to take a break from design team work & dig into my box of stamped off images from friends. It felt good to just sit and color and not necessarily have a project or deadline looming. These cards are so simple but I thought they turned out ok...I like the layout on the card on the right. These were done with small scraps of paper from the Cosmo Cricket "Georgia Girl"/Jitterbug line.

I started out with a goal of using up scraps and old paper. What usually inspires me is new fresh paper patterns, but I also love the challenge of breathing new life into old scraps and odd-shaped leftovers. I wasn't really into an embellishing mood tonite, so these are super simple and plain.
Hope everyone is having a good Monday...blech! :)

these cards are fantastic, have to make a bunch of cards, what a great idea. I agree with Kerry, thought I do sometimes leave comments.

I think your card designs can stand on their own, no embellishments needed. Very cute!
