Vintage Valentine Treat Containers

This was one of my submissions to Papercrafts for the February issue that didn't get selected. They were super easy and quick to make. The images are from Crafty's "Love and Romance" vintage cuts, which is a sheet of wonderful vintage images, ready to be cut apart and used in projects. I distressed the edges with Tim Holtz distress ink and then positioned them on some of Crafty's faux cracked wood paper from their "Pastel" paper pad. The cute little polka dot boxes are from Target from last summer, and came in a package of 3 for $1.00. I always pick up cute gifty take-out boxes like these if they're cheap....super easy to throw a treat in and glue an image to the front. The only thing I did to these besides distress the edges, was to run lines of glitter around the image edges and around some of the main images to give a little sparkle and glitz to them.
Aren't these images the sweetest?
