Memories last forever.

Happy Monday everyone! Settling back into the routine here & piles of laundry after the long weekend! I made this wall hanging at the cabin a few weeks ago with an old photo of my Grandma, Grandpa, Mom and Aunt Jan. I love how they're all cuddled up on the couch reading! My Grams always made my Mom and Aunt's clothes back in those days, so even though they look like twins and are dressed the same, Mom and Aunt Jan are a few years apart in age. I used a big rose floral pattern from Crafty's "Radiant" paper pad to cover a chipboard shape from Crafty's "Rectangle" album, and some matching red polka dot paper to mat the image.
The 'story time' image is from Crafty's 'Story of Me' stamp set. The book from this stamp is blank so you can stamp different words on the book front like "story time", "family album", or ABC for kids cards. I coloredthis little guy in with Copic markers (dull ivory, cobalt blue, carmine, light greyish cobalt, light walnut and skin white). I stamped him right onto some script paper from Crafty's "Classic" paper pad. You could also use a french script stamp to get the same background effect. I love the sentiment that comes with this set; "A moment lasts but a second, the memory will last forever".
Happy Monday!
