So I've been playing around with the new Crafty Secrets "Support the Girls" stamp set that will debut at CHA next week! It dawned on me that this is *SO* much more than a breast cancer set! There are SO many possibilities for supportive friend cards too! I thought this would be a fun card to send to someone who's always there for you through thick and thin...to tell them how much they are appreciated. I'm on a purple kick with this polka dot paper from Crafty's "Radiant" Paper pad. I haven't even gone PINK or BREAST CANCER yet with this set!!!
I stamped our sign girl here with black brilliance ink, masked her off on a post it note, and then covered her up so that I could create my background. I used my Stampin Up watercolor markers to color directly onto the word background stamp with Hope, Smile, etc on it....with magenta and old olive. I then stamped my sentiment inside the chickie's sign. On the background papers I used my favorite french script stamp from Crafty's "Journaling" set, and the corner swirls are from Crafty's "Flourishes" set.
The cool little millinery flowers were gifted to me by Pam Hooten. (THANKS PIRIS!)
