I ran to the cabin this weekend, and in an effort to pack lightly, I only brought the stamps and paper from my last purchase as a Stampin Up demonstrator. I purchased the "True Friend" stamp set and the designer paper pack to match it in my final order. I didn't think I'd squeeze much stamping time in because there was a huge auction at one of the neighbor's houses by the cabin. Turns out we didn't spend a lot of time at the auction, so I spent a few hours in the breezy gazebo in the back yard, putting layouts together and trying out the new "true friend" stamp set. I brought along some green and brown Making memories glitter, and had fun gluing glitter onto the flowers from this set. I've found it helped me to use my hero arts distress backgrounds as a base for these flowers, since you kind of have to create your own focal images. More tomorrow, I'm off to do laundry!
