Still alive!

I'm still alive & well (no chainsaw massacre's this weekend)! Although I'm going to be a few dollars poorer, thanks to friend, Carol (HB on Splitcoast). We went on a stamp run to Archivers and Wet Paint yesterday, and when we got back to my house, she let me play with her PaperTrey sets.

Lets just say I will be placing a small (ahem) PaperTrey order soon! FUN FUN FUN stamps to play with!

I was concerned about the solid image stamps because I don't have a lot of the chalk inks, only the Stampin Up die inks. What amazed me is that they stamp so cleanly, even with die inks! Solid image stamps come out just fine on SU white cardstock! I'm sold! The photo to the left is of a 2 year calender I bought for .99. It had an ugly cat print on the front, so I just covered it up with K & Company "Bailey" paper & added buttons.

The photo corners are from Prima Pop-Ups, from Eclectic Paperie. The ribbon was on sale at Michaels for $1.50. It's beautiful, satiny and has a pretty stitch going through the middle. Carol found it and enabled me on that one too. So all said & done, it was a fun but expensive day!

Love ya, HB!
