The chainsaw is GONE!
I got home tonite and was prepped to chop down a dead lilac tree in our front yard. GASP! The chainsaw is missing from my garage! Stolen! Now the good thing about this is, that I'm a girl, so I didn't have to have the $700 dollar big-boy industrial size logger version of it. It was more like the Fischer-Price toy version, that only cost $35.00 bucks and has hamsters inside running the chain. So it's not a huge loss, but I think I'm sleeping with one eye open tonite just in case there's a chainsaw murderer running around my neighborhood. :)
I made this card a few weeks ago for a friend who unknowingly made my day. I used the Stampendous "Tiers of Treats" stamp that I got from Eclectic Paperie a while ago. The background paper is Daisy D's Cherry Tomato dots and Beacon Hill Scroll Parchment. I used red brads for the 'cherries' and watercolored it using Stampin Up Ink and an aquapainter. The flowers are from a Prima Bubble. Faux stitching done using Hero Art's Ribbons and stitches zigzag stamp.
So if you don't see me post for a while, call 9-1-1, OK? Gnite all !

The red brads for the cherries are an excellent idea! Fabulous card Lisa!
And I hope you get the darn chainsaw back!
Nooooooooooo! The chainsaw can not be gone! Ever since you first mentioned it, I've been picturing myself buying just such a chainsaw. Working my way thru the piles of work my husband just can't get to. Me and my pretty pink chainsaw creating a beautiful landscape, clearing up the dead branches and creating neat little piles of firewood. I've grown rather attached to your chainsaw. Hope it shows up.
Oh yeah, great card too. Haha. Seriously, it is quite nice. I just love your red and turquoise combos.
Delicious CARD!!! Yum-O!!
Be sure to sleep with the lights on!!! EEK!

The author of shabbychickjunk.blogspot.com has written an excellent article. You have made your point and there is not much to argue about. It is like the following universal truth that you can not argue with: Taste is in the tongue of the beholder. (Therefore the previous truth: Ketchup makes everything taste better, except Ketchup may not necessarily be true! Thanks for the info.
