Gone paperless.

Oh man. I am so lame. Give me a day off and I lose my mind. I packed up all of my stamping stuff for the cabin last Friday, and when 5pm rolled around, I raced home, dragged it all downstairs to the car, and packed it in the trunk. I dragged my inks. I dragged my markers. My ribbon, my primas, my CRAFTY SECRETS stamps. All of my embellishments! I packed EVERYTHING but my desk, and my....ahem..... PAPER! I got all the way up to the cabin and did not have even one SCRAP of paper to stamp on. How do you stamp or papercraft without paper? The answer is: you don't.

Aye caramba, I went 4 full days without putting rubber, acrylic or ink to paper. Luckily, I still have cards from my stamping weekend 3 weeks ago that I can post until I can settle back in and start creating again. My family knows that it's not a good thing when I don't bring something to keep me occupied. You know it's bad when Dad asked me to clean the dirty vinyl seats on the pontoon and I did so willingly. They sparkled when I was done....I had NOTHING but time on my hands! NO STAMPS! GASP!
This card was done with the new "Baby Girl" set from Crafty Secrets that was just released at CHA. Eclectic Paperie just added this set to their store. This is a rare speciman...the all stamped card! No patterned paper was harmed in the making of this card! I used a hero arts square distress block to distress white cardstock, and then stamped the booties & my own patterned border with the cute little rattles from this set. I love the scallop that comes with it...I got putzy and cut out the scalloped edge of the card. The cardstock is blush blossom from Stampin Up, and the yellow ribbon is May Arts from StarlitStudio's ebay store.

OMG that was so funny. I'm sure you weren't laughing when you realized no paper. Well I hope you had a beautiful weekend. I'm sure your dad loved all the hard work you did. Love the card! Look forward to more cards. :)

Oh man, that sucks! Sounds like something I would do. At least you held it together and didn't resort to stamping the boat seats! LOL!

I love your all-stamped card! Sometimes I get lazy and depend on patterned papers, but I'll always love all-stamped cards best.

LOL! Oh well, just remember that everything happens for a reason and you obviously were meant to have that break from stamping. :)
Love your work though, so get busy!
