A rare specimen.

I was just going through my craft room today, cleaning out old stamp sets for a garage sale my Mom is having in 2 weeks. Clearing out some of these sets got me revved up to actually CLEAN other stuff out, including an old stash of cards I've been hanging on to for inspiration. I was flipping through cards and found this RARE specimen...not the butterfly, the ALL STAMPED CARD! No patterned paper was harmed in the making of this card! GASP!
I am finding that more and more, I'm relying on patterned paper for quick cards with maximum impact, rather than tediously creating my own patterns from stamps. Sign of the times? Or laziness? (I'm thinking laziness is the more correct answer in my case.) Hope everyone had a fun weekend...tomorrow, back to the grind! Happy Sunday!

No! Using designer paper isn't a sign of laziness! There are so many gorgeous papers nowadays, how could you NOT use them? I use them constantly and find it a greater challenge than NOT using them, but then again, I like to combine lots of different patterns! If it's a sign of laziness, I must be REALLY lazy!!!!

Well then I am in the lazy club, too, as I seek out patterned paper far more often than making my own!

Happy Sunday Evening!

I'm lovin' the patterned paper too these days. I've accumulated quite a collection, I can't seem to pass up a pretty piece of paper.
